For more than 30 years, Maria Savala Mahany has worked in behavioral health as a therapist, clinical supervisor, educator, consultant, program developer, and leader.
Her career has included direct clinical care, clinical supervision and mentorship, professional education, program leadership, staff development, organizational consultation, and work alongside physicians and healthcare teams.
That experience has given Maria a practical perspective on what it takes to provide quality care—not only at the client level, but also within the teams, programs, and organizations responsible for delivering it.

Maria's work has taken her from the therapy room to leadership and healthcare settings.
She has supported individuals and families, supervised and mentored clinicians, educated professionals, developed programs, led teams, and helped organizations strengthen the way services are delivered.
Her healthcare experience includes working alongside physicians and healthcare teams to support behavioral health integration within primary care, bringing clinical expertise into the everyday systems and workflows of healthcare.
